Job Description

· Handling and testing of various samples (blood/urine/stool/sputum etc)

· Assuring personal hygiene by wearing caps, masks, gloves at all times

· Registering each sample after receiving it in the Sample Receiving File

· In case of any missing sample, taking follow up from that floor or department from the file record

· Coordinating with MO for sample received confirmation Bifurcating the samples on the basis of sample type (plain/citrate/heparin)

· Decision concerning sample collection & Handling

· Properly identify patient and correctly use phlebotomy methods.

(Vein puncture, Skin Puncture)

· Ensure optimal quantity and quantity of samples.

· Labelling sample correctly and send them for testing

· Answer patient queries and provide useful information

· Knowledge of legal requirements about drawing blood, handling fluid sample and use of relevant medical equipment and materials

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹180,000.00 – ₹2,640,000.00 per year
