Objective
Our company is interested in hiring an Expeditor who has excellent vendor communication skills, strong time management skills and a commitment to meeting corporate deadlines and receiving critical orders on time. The Expeditor will be responsible for communicating with vendors and shipping companies to ensure that all critical deliveries arrive at their destinations on time.
Roles and Responsibilities
*Develop an efficient and accurate system for monitoring all open purchase orders.
*She will be responsible for tracking an order, handling delivery delays, coordinating with the warehouse manager, and ensuring all orders have been shipped out.
*Deliver a weekly purchase order report to management that indicates the vendor invoice number for all closed purchase orders.
*Work with the MM team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders and report any back-ordered or missing products
*Assist the Supply Chain Manager with maintaining proper inventory levels of materials used on a regular basis
Establish reliable lines of contact with field management team to ensure that all field purchase orders are accurate
Preferred Education and Experience
*Bachelor’s Degree required
*Strong negotiating skills
*Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel, MS Word and industry standard purchase order software platforms.
*Ability to work well with a team.
*Able to thrive in a high-stress and fast-paced environment
*Excellent communication Skills in English, Malayalam, Hindi and Tamil .
