Using consumer research, internal and external understanding, data, intuition, creating relevant categories and subcategories for Farmers Fresh Zone to help build deeper understanding of the consumers, their behaviours, needs / wants across different occasions. Competition analysis & study of industry trends to provide key inputs for conceptualization, Communication of the products in the category.
Responsibilities
Locate the potential vendors, review the purchasing agreements with the vendors and maintain a good connect with them
Govern purchasing department budget and prepare cost analyses
Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and materials
Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders and contact vendors when there are discrepancies
Monitor stock level and determine purchasing needs
Review quality of purchased products
Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition
Manage deliveries to confirm compliance with contracts
Track orders and ensure timely delivery
Update the databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
Being a primary point of contact between the executives and internal/external clients
Handle requests, feedback, and queries quickly and professionally
Prepare professional quality reports and briefs
Develop and carry out an efficient documentation and filing system for both paper and electronic records
Coordinate office procedures
Monitor office supply levels; reorder when appropriate
Ensuring office supplies are maintained, including checking inventory and working with vendors to ensure adequate levels of necessary supplies at all times
Requirements
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Understanding of effective supply chain procedures
Good analytical skill with regards to cost analysis and preparation of other reports
Knowledge and understanding about the sourcing and procuring activities
Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
Proficient in MS Office
Strong organizational and planning skills
